Being Creative Even When You’re Not Inspired
As much as we want our art and our creativity to feel exciting, the truth is that it doesn't always.
Sometimes we don't want to pick up the paint brush, or the pencil or pen, or sit at the wheel, or open the laptop to write or read the lines of the script.
Sometimes, we don't feel the inspiration to create and that's ok. But we still choose to create nonetheless because inspiration can be fleeing and fleeting - sometimes we can grab onto it and sometimes we can't.
But more times than not, inspiration comes when we make consistent room for it to do so.
Creativity likes knowing it has a place to land.
So, let's give it one.
